Non-school uniform day

A big thank you to all the students in Darwin house who took part in the non-uniform day. The day added £155 to our total.

As a house our charity total is now a healthy

£1017.89

This is more than 50% of our goal for the year - well done to everyone but keep going as the £2000 is still a way off.

Amount raised as of the 8th February

As of the 8th February the total raised by Darwin House for the Ellenor Lions Hopsice is

£848.05

This total includes weekly collections, the year 7 and 8 disco profits and the money raised by the doughnut sale organised by Nitto.

This is 42% of the £2000 total we have been set and averages out to £4.66 a person.

To be on target we need to reach £1000 by half term. There will be two opportunities to donate next week. Nitto, Chris and Matthew will be visiting all the forms on Tuesday to do their normal collections and on Friday we have a non-uniform day.

On this day you can wear non-uniform in return for donating at least £1 to the charity. All the money donated by Darwin students will go directly into our total.

Welcome to the Darwin Charity page.

This year all five houses are supporting the Ellenor Lions Hospice in memory of Mr White, a former teacher at WGSB who worked at the school for over 30 years.

If you have any suggestions for fundraising activities then please speak to your form charity rep, your form tutor, your Head of House or Nitto the House Charity captain.
