total so far

As of the 11th November we had raised £115 as a House. We do though have several events happening over the next few weeks which should help increase our total.

Joe Robinson in 6 Darwin 2 is running a sixth form pool competition - please see him for details if your would like to take part.

8 Darwin are running a FIFA competition in the lunchtimes in Sc4.

Christams catalogues - please make sure you hand in your orders to Miss Tame by the ne dof November or if you order online please make sure you add in the school code on your form.

Bag packing day - on the 25th November please come and join us in Sainsbury's in Crayford to help shoppers pack their bags and hopefully collect some money for our total.

Charity collections so far

So far from the Darwin charity weekly collections we have £69.94.

We still have a long way to reach our total of £2000. Please give generously on a Tuesday to help us reach our total. Please also look out for details of our fundraising catalogues and our bag packing day at Sainsbury's in November.

Meet the House Captains

Darwin House has three sixth form House Captains. Your House captain in Faye Rodgers, your House Sport captain is Oliver Aylmer and your House Charity captain is Nitto Satkunarasan.

What subjects do you study?
Media studies, English and Business studies

What are you main roles within the house?
To organise the House notice board, help out in assemblies, organise teams for non-sports competitions and support the Sport and Charity captains in their roles.

What are your plans for when you leave school?
To be a primary school teacher.

Like - sleep.
Dislike - mornings.

Sociology, Economics and Business studies

What is your main role within the house?
To organise teams for the Sports competitions and report on the result of these in House assemblies.

What are your plans for when you leave school?
To study Economics at University.

To work in international business

This year all five houses are supporting the Ellenor Lions Hospice in memory of Mr White, a former teacher at WGSB who worked at the school for over 30 years.
